i have a 96 stratus it has a 2.5 v6 it is one of the limited editions i have never had a problem with it till yesterday it started spitting and sputtering like it was out of gas then took off did the same thing when i got it home i went around the curve it made a loud bang rpms dropped down to .5 on the tach and it started making all kinds of racket and would not move even with the gas on the floor. i shut it off and tried to restart it it would only restart if i put the pedal to the floor and it made the same noise then shut down. i looked underneath and i seen whatever happened caused my oil pan seal to blow any clue on what is wrong oh and this car did not have any leaks before this
