When I first start my car it starts fine but once I get going it starts to lose and gain power until I stop and let it catch its Idle. It will idle real low for about 30 seconds then it will catch and the car runs fine until I turn it off then back on again. its a never ending cycle. ive replaced the MAF and spark plugs. I have no cattalytic converter and the computer reads that I have a bad O2 sensor. Im sure its the sensor thats not plugged into my cattalytic converter. Ive taken the car around and no one can give me a straight answer.....

Check and test the following below:

Oxygen sensor
Catalytic converter
Dirty fuel injectors (cleaning the injectors often fixes this).
Bad MAP (manifold absolute pressure) sensor
Bad TPS (throttle position) sensor
Bad or dirty MAF (mass airflow) sensor
Low fuel pressure (leaky fuel pressure regulator or weak fuel pump)
Vacuum leaks (intake manifold, vacuum hoses, throttle body, EGR valve)
Bad gasoline (fuel contaminated with water or too much alcohol)

Sometimes, what feels like a hesitation is actually ignition misfire rather than lean misfire. The causes of ignition misfire may include:

Dirty or worn spark plugs
Bad plug wires
Weak ignition coil
Wet plug wires
Cap and Rotor
