I have worked on cars for years and have a fairly good amount of ability. My question is having done timing belts in hondas, chains in GMs and several other vehicles is this a job I can do on my own with the 3.0 dohc stealth or should I pay a shop top do the work? I have all the parts I need. The issue is that the belt looks fuine but is lose. (Bad tensioner) So the whole thing needs done.

Hello and thanks for the donation! I have posted the proper replacement procedures below for your vehicle's 3.0L DOHC timing belt. You can read over this and decide if you think you can handle the repair on your own. Let me know if you need assistance with this repair.
