Whats going on with my car my coolant is getting hot and when im at a stop light my car shakes then stops then shakes like it wants to stall im not sure whats going on i just had my head gasket replaced and i dont want to spent that kind of money on somthing else so can you please give me some possibilities of what could be causing this

When was the last tune-up? Any codes? You should be able to get some codes by cycling the ignition switch, on--off, on--off, on, you just cycle key till dash lites come on, no further, the check engine lite starts flashing, you count the flashes to get the codes. If it is an idle issue clean the thorttle-body, check for vacuum leaks.
