1991 Dodge Spirit hesitation

When I drive or try to excellerate, my car hesitates and then it picks up speed a few minutes after.What could the problem be. I put a new map sensor on,tuneup,gas filter,oil and filter change and air filter. The car is still doing the same thing.

For a start check the fuel pressure if its on specs -test the throttle position sensor. Might also want to check the ignition timing and for restriction in the exhaust system to rule out the Cat.
