Engine Cooling problem
1991 Dodge Spirit 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

When I take off in the morning my car temperature gauge gets very hot to the point where my check gauges light comes on. Once I stop or let off the gas my temperature will go back down to normal and stay normal. I have put in a new thermostat, temperature sensor, radiator, and checked to make sure my fan is working properly. Everything is doing okay. There is plenty of coolant. What else could it be?

I would be checking that you have bleed all the air from the system, and i would consider re checking for a faulty new thermostat,

It's still fluctuating but not trying to overheat as often as it was. Not loosing coolant either. I have found that letting my car run for 10 minutes before I leave has helped somewhat.
