spark knock

I have 1999 dodge ram 1500 with 360 engine. I have a spark knock, I covered all the basics with no result. I was told to look in the throttle body and i if there was oil laying down in their it needed an intake gasket and that it would cause the spark knock. Am I on the right track?

It sounds like you have a bad tank of gas can you try filling it up with higher octane fuel? There is no timing adjustment or knock sensor so fuel related is the best bet.
