2006 Dodge Ram Stop Leak

It really depends on how bad the leak is if it will work. As far as the product, I have no recommendations as far as manufacturer, but as long as you follow their directions, everything should be okay.

I realize that stop leak additives can only stop minor leaks within the system.
My concern is that most of these stop leak compounds are air activated.
Once injected into the system they, as the rest of the freon, seap out at the hole & once air hits the stop leak compounds begins to harden and form a weld/patch.
With that said, If the stop leak is injected into the system and the hole is too large to seal or another hole appears in the system with the stop leak in it, will air get into my system causing the stop leak to active, wherefore becoming a solid within the system and destroying the entire system?

That shouldn't happen. If the leak is too big, it just won't work. I have never seen it cause the entire system to plug, but the is a legitimate concern.
