I heard some noises like a leaf had gotten into my squirrel cage AC/Heater fan. When I removed the fan to my surprise it was FULL of junk from the ducting system, such as, foam, wires, metal insulation etc.. I had the truck worked on under warrenty just a few weeks earlier where the dealership had to replace a diverter valve in the duct system.
When I called the dealership to explain what I found they said it was due to a rat and/or mice in my duct work.
I found no smell, no rat/mice droppings, etc. The dealership said no way was this caused by one of our mechanic's.
Does this sound, no pun intended smell right??

looking at the wires will tell you. if they are clean cutswith all strands same size and wire insulation aint damaged it was defintely cut by pliers not by a mouse. highly unlikely they got into the vents on a vehicle where the car was being used regularly. the mechanic was just being lazy and left thigns behind and didnt clean it and it found its way to you blower
