I have a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 with 31,500 miles and a 5.7 HEMI. Recently I have noticed that my rear differential is leaking fluid from the driveshaft input. Is this a bad seal or is this a sign of the rear end leading to failure? I have checked the fuild level and it is still in the normal range.

Thanks for the input. I will get it replaced A.S.A.P. It should be covered under the 7 year/70k mile powertrain warranty.
