2002 Dodge Ram oxygen sensors

How many oxygen sensors comes on a 2002 Dodge Ram truck? And where are they located? Can this part cause the "Check Engine light" to come on? What effect does a bad oxygen sensor have on the operation of my truck?

first i need to know if you have factory dual exhaust, or single. if single you will have 3 sensors if dual you shall have 4.

All will throw a code, if they are malfunctioning or if they detect an error.

they are located on the exhaust piping, before the convertor and after, they are the only sensors on the exhaust so they wont be hard to find.


dependent on what sensor is bad you will have a check engine light, bad gas mileage, and bad performance.
