1. Make and Model of your Car- Dodge Ram 1500 SLT QC
2. Include the mileage - 68000
3. Stick Shift or Automatic Transmission - A/T
4. 2 or 4 wheel drive-2 wheel
5. Strange sounds- A/C
6. Fluid leaks - No
7. Past repair history if applicable - None
My Dodge Ram 1500 SLT QC wasn't cooling. My mechanic recharged the A/C system, it still didn't begin cooling. We found a blown fuse for the fan and replaced this and the fan began to run, but only slightly turned the luke-warm air to Luke-cool air. Now my compressor is making a whining sound (that increases and decreases to the rpms). When I select the A/C button the whining stops (because the compressor stops turning).
I'd sure like to know what I need to do to get this A/C running again. It's hot in SC. Thanks, Ncseadog
