2001 Dodge Ram Failed Emissions

Ok here is what I would try. I would change the oil and then put Seafoam in the tank and before going back for the test make sure you get the truck to full operating temp. You didn't fail by much so if the oil is at all old it could help to drop it enough to pass. Also check the air filter make sure it is clean.

OK- a couple of questions - It would appear I failed the NOx by a tremendous amount although I would agree that I just barely failed the other two batteries. The oil and air filter were good at the time of the test but I did go ahead and change them out already. I live in Colorado where you are tested by mobile units throughout the year and only have to go to an emissions station if you fail your last mobile test. Is there a causation specific to NOx that I should be looking for?
What is Seafoam? I did go ahead and put an oil treatment in with the new oil change and air filter and I cycled some gum out x2 through the fuel tank. Thanks,

Ok seafoam is a oil or gas adative that works great in cleaning up the carbon build up that can get on the valves with today's junk fuel. Look them up on the net. I also need you to make sure there are no exhaust leaks and check the EGR for any leaks as these will cause the NOX to be high. Let me know what you find.
