We recently bought a 2000 Ram Van B3500. It ran fine for the first month or so, then died in traffic. The problem turned out to be a bad PCM which I ordered and replaced myself.
Now the van seems to run fine, but the Malfuntion Indicator Light is on. I performed the on/off,on/off,on with the key and came up with code P1765. After some research I found out that this means 'Switched Battery". What does switched battery mean? How serious is this problem? Is this something that I could fix myself? If not what should I expect my mechanic will want to do to fix it?
