Air Conditioning problem
1999 Dodge Ram V8 Automatic 115000 miles

When AC is blowing and I accelerate, a damper seems to close, completly stopping air-flow. When I level off acceleration, a damper slams open, allowing air flow to resume. Why?

the more throttle you press the less vacuum is present, lower the throttle the more, with that being said your mixing doors are obviously controlled by vacuum some are controlled electronically, therefore when you gun it it will close the mixing doors cutting the flow of air
