I took our truck to Midas and told them I thought I needed a brake master cylinder because the brake pedal was going all the way down when we stopped--instead of doing that, Midas put brakes all around and charged us nearly $500.00. I put in the master cylinder in myself. The back brakes weren't adjusted so I took it back to Midas for adjusting and was told I need a brake booster for an extra $400.00 to put it in. I'm not sure what the problem is now because when they adjusted the brakes, they are now hard to push. Should that happen?
