i need to where the oil pump would be located because im not getting any oil pressure and its got plenty of oil in it

oil pump is in oil pan. may want to check oil pressure with mechanical oil pressure gauge. could be faulty oil sending unit sending wrong info. to gauge.

would that cause it to be tapping repiedly

no, if engine is tapping then the oil pressure is definitely low. weak / faulty oil pump would be likely cause of it then.
