My 1996 Dodge ram 1500 with 65000 miles has a hard time shifing. When i first bought it, it would not even shift into third gear. after cleaning it out and puting a new transmission filter and oil in it, it has been able to shift better. It shill doesn't want to shift until a high RPM and sometimes when coming to a stop it will hit with a large CLUNK. What is the problem, and how can i fix it?
