The air compressor will not come on. Is there a fuse or relay or something I can check?

Hello –

To better assist you please tell me if your model is a pickup, R1500 etc, or Ram Van B2500 etc, or Ram Wagon B3500 etc. Also the engine size in liter and the 8th digit of your VIN.

If your AC compressor is not coming on – when was the last time you had it serviced or checked?

Also, it is a possibility a code may have been thrown. Please go to Auto Zone or O’Reilly’s and for FREE they can pull the codes to the car. Most important: Once they check your codes, if they find something and you don’t get it fixed and need to get back with us, please make sure you tell us exactly what the code was, number and all. Example, if the code was E0568 O2 Sensor bad. Then make sure you give us all of that. While there for FREE also they can bring their tester out and check your battery, alternator and starter.

You may also want to make sure that you have enough refrigerant. The AC clutch will not turn on if you have low refrigerant.
