1994 Dodge Ram Wont go out of Park

When I put my truck into park, and im parked on a hill or even a slight incline, my truck will roll if I dont put the parking brake on. Also, if i put it in park, and get out and later try to put it into gear, it wont move. It wont go out of park. To get it to get out of park, you have to roll it or rock it. It has been going on for 3 or 4 months. Please help me.

you may try to adjust the shifter cable
put the e brake on before you put the truck in park

Try rotating sterring wheel a quarter of a turn right or left or both........
