noticed engine lossing pwr at 75 mph and speedometer gradually decreased uphill. (straight away down hill truck seems normal.) pulled over turned off engine things got worse. when restarting, engine would turn over and die as if no gas. after about the fifth attempt engine turned over, but no pwr at the pedel. From a dead stop engine seems to sputter and occasional will knock until about 10 mph when driving seems to regain normal pwr when accelerating. this all happened today. Recently I had the catalyst convter, muffler, and egr sensor replace.

Has the check engine light come on? Also, have you checked fuel pump pressure? Here is a how to for checking pressure:

https://www.2carpros.com/how_to/how_to_check_fuel_pressure.htm

Try that. You may have a fuel pump on its way out.

Let me know what you find.

Pessure reads approx 25 psi. when i press on the gas psi level does drop no more than 5 psi. No check engine light. (Did have a check engine light 2 month ago due to EGR) Gas guage is also stuck on empty.
I tried to remove the vaccum line which i think is located right side of the electrical connection of the fuel pump, in which fuel came out. Also, correction to my milage; it is over 264,000 miles

According to my books, the pressure should be at a minimum of 35 to 45 psi at an idle. That is for both the 312ci and the 360ci. To me it sounds like the pump is getting weak.
