1987 Dodge Ram V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

My truck will not start. I've installed a new starter, checked the battery cables, battery and the wiring for the starter and all that happens when I turn the key is a single click sound. Any advice?

Could be the starter relay, park and neutral switch and the ignition switch-Double check battery connection.
