I pulled my carb off and noticed coolant coming out of the intake housing when my arm was on the top radiator hose. Is this normal or is my manifold leaking? This is the ram 50

I didnt see any coolant leaks anywhere except right out of a hole on the intake manifold base next to one of the carb mount bolt holes. Also should coolant be getting through the thermostat when I squeeze the top hose when its cold?

Is there a way you can take a couple of pictures of the spot so i can see exactly where it coming from....and you might want to change that thermostat(its cheap and easy to do)

i dont know if you got an answer yet? but yes water runs in the manifold to to keep the carb warm for winter and for emmisions.some have water to the choke to help shut it off when the engine warms up

your right. its just coolant going to the carb. The gasket was bad though so I replaced it. The only problem now is I think some of the vacuum lines are in the wrong spot from the manifold to the carb. I cant find any diagrams with enough detail to see where they go. Any ideas?
