I just got a 68 Dodge Dart 340 (5.6 L) V8 with automatic trans. When I try to put it in park, sometimes it goes into 'R' instead. I have to push the shifter all the way forward and giggle it a little for it to stay in 'P' (and for the shifter button to pop up). Is this a trans problem I can fix myself or should I take it in?
