2003 dodge 2500 pickup caliper

We recently had our relatives come for a visit and found that the right front caliper was missing both bolts. they have never had a brake job done yet. what are the torque values for the bolts? I took one of the left ones out to use for comparison and it seemed loose, at least not as snug as my volvo's are.
also, has this problem come up before?

I am certainly not an expert in automative repair, but I will give you this info. I have a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 and the "brakes" were recalled. I had warped rotors after 22,000 miles. I took it into the dealer and they replaced the rotors, calipers, and pads. I have not had any problems since, except replacing the pads (and master cylinder) at 80,000 miles.
