I have a 1991 Dodge Ram B150 with a 318. The AC works but does not blow out of the center vents, only the defrost and floor. I've already replaced the 6 button selector assem. What's next?

Thanks, Rick

System is in default mode no vaccum is being applied.
So the door actuators are not working to route air.
First need to verify vaccum is getting to conroller. Then to the actuators. Look up past gas pedal see if you see round diaphram with vac line to it. Does it get vac in vent position? Also check pass side for same thing. If they get vac then R&R
Good luck

I just checked and there is filter looking thing under the dash, it's about 3/4" by 3/4". I pulled the hose off of one end and there is light vacuum. Any suggestions?

Thanks, Rick

Is there a lever attached to the other side where the hose is Does it move in dash vent mode? if not move it see if air comes from the dash. Vaccum should be strong like at the engine. Look for the line comming from engine to control be on pass side underhood.
Check pass side also

By lever do mean the Cool ---- Hot lever in the control panel? If so, it moves and presses against the little white vacuum port thing on top of the 6 button control panel.

O.K. that is where you need to see if good vaccum is now from there vac goes to the actuators they will be metal on the side where hose connects and rubber on the other side that is connected to the lever. get in the floor look at the center consoule
to right of gass pedal and on pass sidetoward the center. The actuateor is about 4inc. in dia.
