I checked the coil and it is good. I replaced the ballast resistor and found the ignition module to be bad. I replaced it and the car ran for about 20 minutes and died. I believe the ignition module is out again. The car has been updated to an electronic ignition (by others).
What could be causing the ignition module to be failing?

Thank you
Kelly

carefuly check the ground and wires for routing where they may be grounding out. On the earlier cars if you welded on them without disconnecting the battery that usually fried the control boxes. also check the pick up coil for grounding out and high resistance. It is very important for teh control box to be grounded properly. If this doesn't cure it contact me via private message.
