1988 Dodge Omni Fuel Gauge Not Working

i would reccomend checking that the guage works first.

put direct +12v on it and check the guage is it full?

ground the signal wire out, does tank show empty if so guage is functioning and you need a new sending unit

if not check for bad wiring.
