why is car losing coolant?

If the neon has a seperate Resevoir tank (connected to radiator by thin low pressure hose) remove it and check that for leaks, and replace the hose.
If its a completely closed system, you can try replacing the cap.
what ever you do, do not let it overheat! thats one of the worst things you can do to an engine.

I have been checking my coolant levels every other day and the coolant in the Resevoir Tank keeps going down.

I had it pressure checked by two different shops and they both said it was fine. Nothing wrong that they could see.

Any ideas why it is losing coolant? I am afraid to let the coolant drain all the way from the Resevoir Tank in order to see if it over heats (then take it in to a shop saying it is overheating. thinking that could help figure it out.)[/quote:45f37ebb49]

it does h ave a seperate tank. with the little hose.

i will check it out. you are saying the hose my have a hole in it?

i never see any fluid under the car except condesation from the AC.
