Dash lights and rear lights.

(96 Neon, 58,000 miles, 2.0L) --just had heater core replaced-- A family member who works at a garage replaced my heater core, and I got the car back but now when I turn on my headlights the dash lights do not come on, nor do the rear lights until I hit the brake. Any suggestions? Thank you very much.
