2003 Dodge Neon 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

My car has a frame in which to hold the stereo that is 3 inches in height.
can i install a stereo in that frame that is 2 inches in height?
if not, what should i do?

yes, you will need to purchase a radio dash kit to install with your aftermarket radio system. they normally cost around $15 - $20 and are fairly simple to install.
