Spark plug gap

Under the hood is a sticker with engine information on it one of those pieces of info is the spark plug gap reccomended by the manufaturer. You can also look in the tune up section of your auto manual for that info as well. Hope this helps MORT

2003 Dodge Neon 2.0 SXT - One spark plug has popped out 3 times in last 6 months (twice in last week). I'm presuming the threads are damaged. Can a Helicoil kit work or do I need a new Head? Is it safe to drive while I figure out how to fix as long as I tighten the plug before driving?

Yes, a heli-coil will work but it has to be installed correctly by someone with experience because a mistake will ruin the head or possibly even the block. They make a special installation kit for the Ford V8s that will probably work on that one too.

My daughters car smokes for a minute after starting (white) and I removed the spark plugs, and there was oil on the outside of 3 of the four. I am asking what is causing this?

I have a 98 Dodge Neon Dual Over Head Cam and mistakenly put spark plugs for a Single Over Head Cam in it before finding out that the specs are different. My car is running fine and does not appear to be misfiring. If I leave them in will it damage my car or are the spec differences not that significant?

You really should replace them with the correct ones. Spark plugs are designed to perform at different temps, and they have different lengths. I have actually seen a hole burnt in a piston as a result of too hot of plug. THerefore, replace them with what should be in the engine.
