Transmission problem
2001 Dodge Neon 4 cyl Automatic 91,000 miles
As l press down on the acceleration and once between 25 and 40 mph the car will go into a jerking battle until reaching pass 40 mph where it smoothing throughout the rest of the acceleration period. Ever since having the car (9 months) it seem to idle high like its taking a little to much gas before it finally switch gears which it does fine except between 25 - 40 mph. This happens every time but l can somewhat surpass this stage if i really press down on the acceleration.
The engine check light has been on ever since this problem occurred i was told its code P0743. I seriously need professional advice on this problem i have been told i need to replace the torque converter, the torque switch, some just say its an computer problem please help. I also have the starter, alternator and battery check out which is all fine.
