Shakes or Wobbles problem

Hi there. My 2000 Neon is having an issue with hesitation. It nearly stalls when I'm trying to take off from a light or stop sign, and while I'm sitting at the light it shakes and jerks and seems like it's going to die. I thought I had this fixed with replaced spark plugs last summer, but it has come back. The problem is also exacerbated when the A/C is running. To get going from a stop I have to pump the gas a few times, or I ease off the gas completely and cruise until it "catches" and then it will accelerate just fine. Any ideas?
