Electrical problem
2000 Dodge Neon V4 Front Wheel Drive Automatic 113784 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
this is for my brother and his wifes neon, it has been pretty cold here and the igition has been freezing, they have tried de-icer and pb penetrating and nothing has worked, sometimes they would stay in the car for 20-30 mins shaking the key just the get it started, and now today my brother who has a short fuse decided to take a flat head to it and pull it out, now i have to try and get it back together, the car has an immobilizer on it and i beleive he has engaged the immobilizer because it has cut power to the starter so there is not rotation, how can we bypass that so i can get it to the dealership for a new ignition cylinder?

Not so sure that you can.Im thinking a tow truck is in order.Once the anti-theft is activated, all requirements need to be met for it to disable.
