I recently had the head off of my 2.0 litre DOHC engine to replace a burned valve. Within 100 Km later 2 rod bearings turned. They got noisy and the oil lamp flickered at low rpm. I just replaced them and I'm hoping that will fix the problem as the oil light seems fine now. How is oil supplied to the crank. I took the valve cover off and all the head parts appear to be o.k. and lots of oil coming up to the head elements.

Hi:
the oil is supplied by the pump through journals in the crank.
