Quick one, I think. Neon has been throwing a misfire error (43). Originally I thought it had to do with the oil getting into the spark plugs (another issue I think I have since fixed). I don't have an OBD-2 interface, so I'm relying on the check engine codes.
I did a check of the ignition coil. I'm getting 1.2 ohms primary and 11.2k-11.8k ohms on secondary. These numbers make me suspicious, but I'm on a tight budget, so I'm looking for a confirmation.
Related: I have performance spark plug cables tested around 1.5k ohms each. I just changed the spark plugs, with a 0.035" gap. Cam sensor was recently replaced and I just replaced the fuel pump/fuel tank. Air filter checks out okay. Also. I smelled unburned gas during the idling today.
