1995 Dodge Neon car bangs into gear...............

hello, i just purchased a 1995 plymouth neon. it has a manual transmission but when i put it in gear and let the clutch out it kinda bangs into gear. no matter what i do there is no sweet spot to feather the clutch and gas pedal to keep it from doing this. the owner said he put a new clutch in so it grabs real quick, could this be all it is?

I had the same problem with my 99 neon! I was so worried about my transmission, but it turned out I just needed a new front engine mount!
