battery cable replacement?

I was wondering what the best way to replace the battery cables would be. Are there any particular part I should be taking off to make it easier to get to the connections. In particular the ground. I have all the cables off but there were other wires that were connected to the frame and I am not 100 percent sure I know where all of them go. I need some sort of step by step procedure so that I don't get it back together and then find out I forgot to hook up this wire or that or something like that. Its a tight fit and for some reason I cant' find any kind of procedure for this in the haynes or anywhere on the web. there are procedures for changing wiper blades but not battery cables?

Loosen the bolt on the negative battery cable with the minus sign first, using a box wrench or cable clamp pliers. Carefully twist the cable end off the post, tapping it gently with a small hammer if it sticks. Repeat the process on the positive cable.

Follow the negative cable to where it's grounded to the body of the Plymouth Neon on the inside of the fender. Remove the end of the cable with a wrench. Track the positive cable to its connection on the starter solenoid on the driver side of the engine and remove it with a wrench.

Clean the battery posts with a small wire brush or cable cleaner. Wipe off any residual dust with a clean, dry cloth.

Attach the new positive cable first by reversing the process in Step 2. Connect the negative cable last and start the car to ensure the connections are secure on your Plymouth Neon.
