2005 Dodge Magnum Electric

Hello –

To better assist you please tell me the model of your vehicle. Is it a RT, SE, SXT. Also the engine size in liter and the 8th digit of your VIN.

my model car is 2005 dodge magnum RT. Engine is a 2.7 liter, V6 engine. and the 8th digit of the vin is a (T).

Thanks for the info……….just a note though……..are you sure the 8th digit starting from the left is a “T”? When I look at the 2.7L engines the only VIN is an “R”

Please go to Auto Zone (AZ) or O’Reilly’s (OR) and for FREE they can pull the codes to the car. Most important: Once they check your codes, if they find something and you don’t get it fixed and need to get back with us, please make sure you tell us exactly what the code was, number and all. Example, if the code was E0568 O2 Sensor bad. Then make sure you give us all of that. While there for FREE also they can bring their tester out and check your battery and alternator.

Also check your belt tensioner.

My thought……either your alternator is not putting out correctly or you belt tensioner is not keeping enough pressure on your belt.

Let me know what you find out from AZ.

O.K. got you my information, my 2005 DODGE MAGNUM SE (VIN: 2D4FV48T45H622379) 2.7 liter, V6. My lights flicker and my battery light comes on. Any Idea.
