electronic windows don't work

Chrysler Intrepid, 1999, 150,000 kilometers. Three of the windows(electronic) won't roll down. At one point only the driver's window would roll down. After playing with the buttons, the driver's window no longer rolls down but the passenger window does. Did the polarity get reversed? Thanks!

The polarity is not reversed unless the window goes up when you press down - and goes down when you press up... You would need a multi-meter to test the switches - but I suspect that you have several failed window motors. '99 sounds like about the right age for electronic failures.
