What is the normal operating temp for this engine?
At what temp should the cooling fans come on?

The thermostat opens at 180 degrees. It can reach temperatures of up to 203 degrees.
The fan can come on at anytime so be careful. It gets real hot for the fasn to come on, but with no pressure(cap off) it comes on just above 208 degrees usually. All specs are farenheit.
