2004 Dodge Intrepid AC problem

I have a problem with keeping r134 in the ac. I have been told the leak is under the dash and is quite expensive to repair. What part would be under the dash? Is it something I can repair myself?

Unless you are familiar with removing dash boards, leave it alone, it will be a leaking evaporator core. There are a lot of braces, modules, wiring harnesses and such, but if you want to try it, I will look up the process and send it along...
