my car was running fine a week ago. then my alternator died then killed the battery. after i got the alternator in my car and got it started. the car ran fine for about 30 seconds. then it started knocking. someone told me i need to take the terminal off of the battery again reset the computer then put it back on and "retrain the computer" he said to do this i need to run the car at 1500 rpm for about 15 minutes then run the car in traffic for about 30 minutes and the knocking should disappear
