We have a great step by step instructional video on replacing front brake pads and rotors. You can check it out at https://www.2carpros.com/car_repair_video/how_to_change_brake_pads_rotors.htm . You may want to consider purchasing a set of brake dust shields for your wheels to protect against brake dust.

Be aware you can do a lot of damage from doing a brake job on your own. This is where training comes in. In particular, NEVER NEVER EVER push the brake pedal all the way to the floor. There is a very good chance you will destroy the seals in the master cylinder.

If you found really cheap brake pads that don't make visible brake dust, the rest of us would like to know where you found them. Might as well get used to cleaning the wheels because high-quality linings make dust.
