2001 Dodge Intrepid buying concerns

The engine in my '88 Grand Caravan has 372,000 miles, and I change the oil and filter less than once a year, (typically 10 - 15,000 miles). No smoke, no leaks, just a little clatter so people walking in parking lots know I'm coming.

At 128,000 miles, the engine is about half used up. I'd be more concerned with the transmission, but you're no more likely to have trouble with it than with a newer lower mileage car.
