2000 Dodge Intrepid Adding Transmission Fluid

How do you know you need to add fluid??? I ask this because you want to be very careful to not overfill your transmission. (It'll kill it)

And the very place you checked to see that you need fluid is the place you add fluid. You need a funnel, and make sure your car is at operating temp. so you'll get an accurate reading on the dipstick.
