1999 Dodge Intrepid slow starting

The engine is slow to start sometime it turns over fine it just has to be turned over longer than normal but it always starts I installed a fuel pressure gage in line to check the fuel pressure but it always starts normally when the gage is installed the fuel pressure is about 2psi low and it bleeds down after sitting awhile

How quickly does it bleed down? You may have a leaking injector or a bad check valve in the pump.

It takes about 3or 4 hours to leak down but it is intermittent, so I pulled the injectors hooked them up to the fuel line and pressurized the rail found two injectors seeping just a little. I had just installed a new set of remanufactured injectors about 5000 miles ago. I guess I got a couple of bad ones so I ordered a complete set of NEW ones and will put them in tonight I will let you know how it starts after I am finished.

The new injectors fixed the problem it starts fine now! Sorry it took me so long to get back with the answer I have been working on a transmission problem on the same car it has been going into limp home mode and setting code 1776 ever since I had it overhauled I have changed the solinoid pack and that did not fix it so now I sent the TCM out for remanufacturing do you have any other ideas what could cause this?

P1776 is a transmission fault code. It is for Solenoid Switch Valve Latched in Low Reverse Position. It could be a valve body also. I've seen both replaced both for this code.
