items connected to the steering wheel are not working. Horn and cruise control. Checked fuses not the problem.

If the underhood and interior fuses are ok the fastest step would be to check the horn button under the air bag. See if it works when you ground it.It may be common under or in the column. Did you check this with a scan tool and make sure the body control module does not show any problems? OK
