I have a battery that is on it's last leg. I tried to get remove the battery, but to no avail. I noticed that the terminals were corroded. I cleaned/replaced these and there was no difference. How does one remove the battery as it is in along the ¼ panel by the wheel well.

it is easier to remove tire,then 5-6 screws in wheel well plastic cover to access battery,tou have to remove hold down bolts and cross bracket,at least thats thats the way it is on my lh body 99 300m.
